Hi, I’m Candace!
I’m the Founder & Lead Travel Designer of Remember When Travels! I grew up in Kentucky but now call the sunny beaches of LA home. My travel philosophy is pretty simple: the best trips mix plenty of relaxation with some really cool experiences that help you connect with a place.
My travel bug bit hard circa age 17 when I spent six amazing weeks exploring South America. Despite not speaking the language perfectly, I made some incredible friends, tried foods I couldn't pronounce, and fell completely in love with discovering new places. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to wander through more than 50 cities across 22 countries (and counting!).
Why I Love Travel Planning
I've spent years getting to know the very best spots in Southern Europe, California, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Want to sip wine on a private yacht while cruising along the Amalfi Coast at sunset? Or maybe discover a tiny family-owned vineyard in Tuscany that most travelers never find? Perhaps a seamless island hopping adventure in Croatia with the best local guide steering you away from the tourist traps? These are the kinds of experiences that make me excited to come to work each day!
I'm not about cramming your days with endless activities and exhausting schedules. Sure, luxury hotels and surprise champagne and chocolate treats waiting for you in your room are wonderful (and I know how to find the best of both!), but the real magic happens when you have time to truly experience a place. Sometimes the most memorable moments come from having the space to wander, connect, and discover something unexpected.

I love finding that sweet spot between fun group activities and giving people space to do their own thing. Whether it's a family reunion or a company retreat, I make sure everyone comes back with stories to tell and memories to cherish.
